Thanks for passing by my blog. Marmul is traditionally one of Oman’s ‘hot’ locales. Today’s max temp is 39 degree celsius and it’s only gonna increase in the days to come, especially in June-July.
Otherwise, Marmul is a pretty much quiet oilfield outpost in the desert with lot of activity by PDO (Petroleum Development Oman), which is the chief oil concessionaire in Oman.
Falling hair is a common tragedy that afflicts most new-comers to Oman – I guess it’s the water with high-mineral content coupled with the unpleasant desert clime… so there you go… :)

My friend Saravanan is at Marmul working in GPS as Planning engineer from Mar’07. I heard from him that the place is lonely and sunny. He faces some health problem like falling hair etc.

I wonder how that place is? In weather condition web site it shows only normal 35 degree Celcius.
